The Managing Editor, Patricia O’Conner, contacted Anthony to invite him to write an article for the magazine as she was in awe of his work. Patricia mentioned it would be the first time in the magazine's history to feature a single-species photographer, especially one specializing in hummingbirds. Excited about this opportunity, Anthony decided to write about his captivating experiences with elusive endangered hummingbirds. Upon submitting his article and stunning photography, Anthony was thrilled that the magazine had chosen to feature him on the cover!
