Since I was a child back in my hometown in Chihuahua, Mexico, I knew that art would be part of my daily life, I remember that at home there was a very large garden and the hummingbirds always came. I took out my notebook and colors and started painting them. It was how my fascination with hummingbirds began. I was probably about 7 years old at the time, years later the idea of being an actor was floating in my mind. It wasn’t until I moved to live in the States (New Mexico) at the age of 12 that my life would change forever and I was to become dedicated to art.

I took art classes in middle school, and my teacher Mrs. Kohen would whisper with a big smile at the end "Do not stop painting, you can be a great painter…" I will never forget it., After graduating from high school I decided to return back to Mexico, where art became all I thought about.

I attended the University of Chihuahua (Facultad de Artes de la UACH) and have a degree in Visual Arts.

My style is to paint freely like the hummingbirds. My paintings are very colorful and the backgrounds are usually with textures something very distinctive of my artwork. I give personal classes to young people as well as workshops. My life is concentrated on traveling from San Miguel de Allende and Chihuahua, Mexico.
